Apex Restaurant Management, Inc. was formed in 2005 by Tabbassum Mumtaz, Ajay Dhillon, and Ray Wilia when the company acquired (18) Long John Silver's restaurants in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. In 2006 the company added (8) locations in Texas and Oklahoma. In 2008 they acquired (44) LJS/LAW restaurants in the North Texas and Tulsa/Oklahoma City markets which made the company one of the largest LJS franchisees in the country. During 2010 the company acquired (54) KFC multi-brand restaurants in the metro Dallas market. In 2011 (35) KFC multi-brand restaurants were acquired in the metro Chicago market.

Tabbassum Mumtaz has served as President and CEO of Apex Restaurant Management, Inc. with responsibility for managing over 3,200 employees. Furthermore his duties include restaurant operations, marketing, financing, as well as restaurant development and remodeling activities.

Tabbassum serves on the LJS Franchise board as well as operating and technical committees. Prior to forming Apex Restaurant Management, Inc., Tabbassum owned and operated several Wendy's Restaurant locations. From 1993-97 Mr. Mumtaz held several management positions with the Long John Silver's Restaurant group. Tabbassum has over 15 years of rigorous operations management experience in the QSR industry in addition to considerable expertise in franchise development. Tabbassum is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association and is a managing partner of LJS Partners LLC, a recently formed venture that purchased the LJS brands from Yum Brands in 2011.

Ajay Dhillon has served as the company's CFO and has been responsible for the finance, accounting, and administrative functions at the company's corporate offices in Pleasanton, CA. Previously, Ajay also owned and operated several Subway Restaurant operations from 1990-1996. Prior to forming Apex Restaurant Management, Inc. in 2005, he served as President of the Property Appraisal Group, a residential property appraisal company serving the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ray Walia serves as the Company's COO and is primarily involved in the company's acquisition activities and development of numerous financing partnerships. Ray is also the President of California Home Loans/RW Pacific Home Mortgage Inc. a well established and highly successful mortgage brokerage business. Ray has a tenacious history in building new businesses, securing strong customer loyalty and forging strategic relationships with external business partners.
